Divorce and your kids: Keep quiet about finances

One of the toughest aspects of divorce is going from a two income family to a one income family. Not only that but creditors and debtors don’t care that you are divorced and that the other parent isn’t paying child support. They don’t care that you are essentially trying to run two households. After all when you get a divorce the finances are drastically changed. Yet children’s rights means that they don’t have to worry about the finances or the burden of how the bills are going to get paid.

This really is a biggie. I work for http://www.firstwivesworld.com, it is an online community of support and help for women navigating through the various stages of divorce and life thereafter. This is a topic that resonates greatly on our site. Our theme of the month for April is all things Financial, and we have experts, authors, and members speaking on this very topic so check it out.

    Just my two cents
